In Honor of Saint Sara La Kali

I, Debora, grew up celebrating Sara la Kali's Day with my family, in a Brazilian Makumba terreiro, hearing about how she could perform liberating miracles, wash away the anguish of our hearts and grant us safe passage through the hardships of life.

Since moving to the United States, I've tried to keep this aspect of my family's tradition alive by celebrating Saint Sara's Day by myself or with friends. This year, my good friend and witch of the poisonous garden, Coby Michael and I would like to offer a community donation based ritual in honor of Sara la Kali mythos and magic. All members of the magical community are invited, and our ritual will focus on energetically supporting those who struggle or have struggled with any form of addiction, toxic behavior patterns and self sabotage.

What's this ritual about

This ritual is crafted for people who currently struggle with addiction, toxic behavior patterns and self sabotage or/ and are watching a loved one struggle and wish to perform the ritual in their name.

People who have struggled in the past and would like to celebrate their healing journey with the magical community as well as fortify themselves in their addiction free path are also more than welcome to join!

How does this ritual work and what can you expect

After making a donation, you will receive an email with all the needed information to join the ritual live on May 24th at 6 PM EST, through Google Meet as well as the list of needed and recommended materials.

This ritual will be recorded for those who can't attend live, allowing the participants to perform the ritual until May 27th.

Debora and Coby will empower the ritual of the participants by using their personal connection with Sara la Kali and the Datura Plant Spirit. The participants don't have to have a personal  relationship with Saint Sara or Datura to join, only a respectful heart.

After the ritual, attendees will be invited to talk, ask questions and enjoy a simple feast in celebration of the magic we just had access to.

Sara, Sara, Sara,

like the caravans passing through in the heat of the desert,

in my heart all suffering and anguish shall also pass!

Sara, Sara, Sara,

I shall not perish or suffer

for you are blessing me

in the turmoil and joys of life!
